What is and Why a BTM Test Team?

As new products and innovations are developed and released to YOU, the hockey consumer, we at Behind The Mask are given the difficult task of predicting whether our customers will be asking for them, if they'll live up to manufactures hype, or if they'll be durable enough for BTM to stand behind them.

We've decided it's time to start taking the guess work out of choosing our products. Every hockey industry manufacturer has a product development department who's job it is to help them make a top product. We thought, why shouldn't we have a team of consumer product users who can take new products to the rinks of Arizona and use them on our ice, in our climate, and at the frequency that YOU'LL be using them.

That's where you come in. Here at BTM, a team is being assembled to not only test new hockey gear, sticks, skates, etc, but one that will share their opinions and experiences about the products they test with other Arizona hockey players. Our Test Team will be writing reviews that we'll both post on the BTM website and supply to Arizona Rubber Magazine for new product review segment that will appear in each issue of the magazine.

Who qualifies and How do I apply?

The Test Team is open to hockey players between the ages of 12-18 years old. You must live in Arizona and currently be playing hockey at one of the states ice and or in line facilities. We encourage both ice and inline players (those who play both are even better) to apply. The first members of the BTM Test Team will be announced in the October issue of Rubber Magazine along with a sneak peak at some of the hot new products the team will be testing over the next few months.

This is the time of year when ALL the hockey companies are ready to start introducing new items, we need to get our team assembled NOW and get them out on the rinks evaluating our purchases for 2008. If you think you'd make a good product tester, and you feel you have the ability's to not only write a review that your peers will find helpful and informative, but do so on a deadline, then fill out the form bellow and submit your name to the pool today.
